Requirements
In order to qualify for the Certified Master Chaplain, CMCsm credentialing program, individuals must adhere to the following requirements:
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Be a member of the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security
- Experience in the related fields of crisis/emergency response/disasters
- Two letters of recommendation (one must come from a related agency)
- 3-5 years experience in the field of chaplaincy/ministry
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Submission of ordination or ecclesiastical endorsement
